This painting was done from a sketch of a photo of a flower at Heather Farms garden in Walnut Creek, CA.

Green Heron Standing Tall Photo

I saw this green heron with it's neck extended, it's rare to see that, they look so different when they do this. This shows why they are herons, otherwise they look very ordinary. This is what a green heron usually looks like.
