About

I’ve been doing sculpture, painting and drawing my whole life.  I studied art at DePaul University and have taken many art classes at Diablo Valley College.  

I find I need to do some kind of art on a daily basis to feel complete.  I’m always inspired by nature and love to spend time outdoors.  I love to observe animals, birds and plants and always feel exhilarated by them.  I feel that nature is sacred and I hope to encourage others to appreciate it with my art.

I use drawing as the basis of my work.  I feel like the lines in the work are important and I’ve experimented with different mediums in order to emphasize them.  I am currently using markers for drawing and then adding watercolor.
