Demaris Brown Art

These two were hanging out together today

I saw this duck sipping from a pond today.

I love how ducks can rest on one leg like this female mallard is doing.

This mallard was napping in the sun between two turtles

This duck found her own quiet spot to hang out in

Siesta  (watercolor) Original: $400 11x14 matted prints: $35 16x20 matted prints $60 This is one of the fastest paintings I've ever done.  I love ducks and this female mallard was enjoying a little nap on the water the day I sketched her.  I later turned the sketch into this painting.

Duck Drinking  (watercolor) 11x14 Original:$350 11x14 matted prints:$35 16x20 matted prints $60 This painting was done from a quick sketch I made at a park of a duck drinking.  I did the drawing with colored markers as an experiment and then added watercolor.
